We are seeking an experienced Façade Estimator who can carry out the responsibilities below, preferably candidates with UAE/GCC experience in the same field:
Requirements:
– Qualifications: Diploma/ Bachelor Degree
– Experience: Minimum 5 years in UAE
– Proficient in all computer software programs used in estimating.
– Possess strong mathematical and computer skills – proficiency with all MS Office products.
– Excellent knowledge of building envelopes, products, suppliers, etc.
– Ability to meet deadlines and put in the time needed to complete the job.
– Excellent communication skills.
– Good written and verbal communication skills, and familiarity with project procedures and practices.
– Orgadata- LogiKal knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct an initial tender document study, identify the tender requirements, and conduct an initial tender risk review with management before taking the decision to participate in the tender.
– Confirm to the Consultant/Client/Main Contractor the intent to participate in the tender or the regret for non-participation after discussing with management.
– Receiving, and evaluating the tender documents, studying drawings along with B.O.Q.s, project specifications, and List of Materials.
– Preparing inquiries to get quotations for the materials, services, and subcontract works.
– Estimating the architectural facade products, Issuing quotations for projects.
– Providing clients with technical proposals besides preparation of any required clarification details with the offer.
– Following up with the contractor for tender addendums, enquires, and the latest updates/addendums on projects and specifications.
– Maintaining the variation orders raised and approved until the project handing-over stage.
– Advice and counsel colleagues while work is in progress.
– Coordinating with the design department for verification and checking during estimation.
– Coordinating the work and activities with others.
