This position will work under the direction of a manager and will perform duties at a professional level with attention towards the delivery of quality customer service. The responsibilities include preparing and reviewing client records, assisting with analyzing monthly reports, reconciling accounts, and preparing payroll.
Duties and Responsibilities
Managing and advising clients on financial and tax affairs
Perform varying levels of accounting and bookkeeping services to business clients iand preparing financial statements
Prepare and post journal entries
Process payroll and periodic tax returns
Prepare or review reporting deliverables
Requirements & Skills
Client management and communication skills
Experience preparing accounts across a range of business sectors
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Must be detail-oriented and organised
Proficiency in accounting software packages (training will also be provided) Word and Excel
Effective oral and written communications
Must be a self-starter and be able to work with little to no supervision
Prior experience is a plus
