Senior Office Manager

If you have a passion for aviation and training, we are currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Office Manager. You will be required to liaise with clients, simulator technicians, governmental bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and execute administrative responsibilities to ensure smooth operations
Coordinate office communications, including important office announcements, maintain calendar of key dates, and key event reminders
Help integrate new employees with necessary equipment, information, and company procedures and policies
Proactively research and negotiate to ensure cost efficiency for all goods and services
Manage ordering, inventory and budget of office supplies and equipment
Nurturing Ansett office culture through planning and executing internal and external events as appropriate
Responsive to changes and unexpected events: Being resourceful in handling unexpected turn of events A typical feature of the aviation industry
Embodying the attitude that no task is too small if it aids in the improvement of the company and morale
Day-to-day / month-to-month accurate data entry and other bookkeeping duties
Maintenance of general ledger including P&L reviews / management and balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with group corporate policies, regulatory and general accepted accounting principles and working with Ansett head office finance function
Process and reconcile intercompany transactions and bank reconciliations
Invoicing and accounts receivable management
Accounts payable processing and management
Payroll processing and leave management
Local taxation compliance and management
Working with Global Financial Controller to implement and manage internal controls and business processes
Cashflow Management: Active communicating with the Global Financial Controller on the ROLE DESCRIPTION company’s cash position through financial forecasting and projections
Participate business planning processes: P&L strategic reviews, budgets, rolling forecasts and monthly performance reporting
Support Business team in achieving financial and strategic targets
Monitor revenues and expenses: Evaluation of financial data and preparation of statutory and taxation reports
Assist head office with financial audits and statutory reporting requirement

Key Skills and Experience

5 years of experience working in office
Finance and accounting background
Fluent in English
Teamwork
Working under stress situations
Excellent communication and people skills
Good organizational and multitasking abilities

Education/Qualifications Required:

Proficiency in English (oral and written)
Knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
High School diploma
Additional certification is a plus
