EV Service Manager

Establishes procedures, plans, and directs testing, maintenance, and repair of electric cars.
• Ensure the highest level of customer service across all touch points.
• Delegate and direct all service tasks to ensure customer vehicles are repaired and returned within the agreed turnaround time.
• Analyses technology, resource needs, and customer demand, and liaise with the management to plan and assess feasibility of cars.
• Analyse & review each issue raised by the customers / service team and prepares the corrective action at the minimal time bound.
• Ensure proper maintenance of all equipment’s and tools in excellent condition.
• Monitor each employees work and provide coaching, guidance & OTJ training
• Develop & promote Service Contract Plans.
• Develop & Assign KPI’s & targets for service team.
• Monitor under warranty claim reports for the cars inspected, send report & follow-up with the manufacturer.
• Responsible for all parts related activities
• Monitor fast moving parts and maintain sufficient inventory.
• Implementation of all required certification procedures required by the relevant authorities.

General
• Recommend improvements to departmental policy and implement procedures and controls covering all areas of the department, so that all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering quality, cost effective service to customers.

• Ensure compliance to all relevant QHSE procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, health, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.

• Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

D. Job Specifications
1. Qualification, Knowledge, Experience
a) Academic Qualification & Professional Qualification
• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering or Electrical, Mechatronic or an equivalent combination of education.
b) Experience (minimum preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the automobile service industry of that at least 2 years in a managerial role
• 2-3 years of experience working on electrification/hybridization technologies including low / high voltage power systems and charging components

2. Technical Requirements
• Deep Knowledge in Electric Vehicle Systems
• Deep knowledge in Electric Vehicle charging standards (e. g. UL2202, IEC61851, ISO15118, DIN70121, etc.) and the validation / certification processes
• Knowledge about embedded systems and automotive network communication (CAN, Automotive Ethernet, LIN, etc.)
• Broad knowledge in the field of Electric Mobility (market, technologies, power grid)
• Solid understanding of the latest challenges and trends focused on one or more of Electric Mobility key areas including Charging, Battery & Battery Management System, Inverter, and Electric Motor.
