OpenShift Engineer urgently required for a 12 month contract with a major IT vendor to be based on-site in Dubai for the contract duration.
Overview
Tech refresh of the existing SOA-Process based integration platform with the following architecture, based on Red Hat Fuse, Red Hat Process Automation Manager deployed in du’s existing OpenShift Container Platform environments.
The tech refresh will follow environment separation used today for the different stages of the development cycle.
Scope:
– Deployment of Red Hat Fuse
– Build pipeline integration
– Design review services
Undertake the deployment of Red Hat Fuse and Red Hat Process Automation Manager
platforms on deployed OpenShift clusters as per the agreed (6) environments.
Red Hat Fuse:
● Install Red Hat Fuse based on OpenShift operator onto the non-production cluster in 4
namespaces, and 2 on production and DR clusters
● The Preprod, Production and DR environments are deployed with highly available configuration
● Configure the Fuse management
● Install Fuse Monitoring Stack on OpenShift Clusters
● Using Red Hat Sample code for sanity check
● Apply latest Patches/Updates to Fuse Installation
● Verify Fuse Installation
● Verify Access to Fuse Console
● Create an Engagement Journal that captures all of the above activities
Red Hat PAM:
● Definition of source code repositories to be used in the solution
● Install the design environments for RHPAM on the non-production environment.
● Configure the authoring/design environment for continuous integration, version control and
artifact repositories (SCM and artifacts repository is provided by customer)
● Install an execution environment for RHPAM based on Red Hat EAP
● Configure the authoring/design environment for continuous integration, version control and
artifact repositories (SCM and artifacts repository is provided by customer)
● Install an execution environment for RHPAM based on Red Hat EAP
● Configure the execution environment for integration with artifact repositories
● Validate RHPAM Installation
● Verify Access to RHPAM Business Central for design time and for runtime management
Cross-component activities:
● Demonstrate working functionality of RHPAM and Fuse components via sample demo application
Create a blueprint for the build and deployment pipelines to be used in this Red Hat
Middleware environment.
● Define build pipeline blueprint used as a template for future processes
● Define deployment pipeline blueprint used to propagate the process artifacts between the
development stages
● Define the production and DR artifact propagation and deployment
Assist the developer partners (Atos) in the application design review for the
newly recreated processes in a time and material engagement structure.
The engagement is envisioned to be provided in two phases:
● Design review after the developer partner’s design sessions catering for overall design validation
based on Red Hat’s best practices. Expected duration: 1 week of effort
● Code review after the pilot process creations delivered by the developer partner.
