Axana
We’re looking for a talented and passionate Full Stack Developer with expertise in Blockchain and Web3 technologies to join our team at Axana, an innovative next-gen social media platform focusing on truth, privacy, mental health, and meaningful interactions.
Role:
As a Full Stack Developer and Founding Team Member, you’ll work closely with our team to develop and implement our MVP using a hybrid approach that leverages off-chain interactions, decentralized protocols, and cutting-edge frontend and backend technologies. Your work will have a direct impact on the success of our MVP and our ability to fundraise and bring Axana to market.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a React-based frontend for our platform, using state management libraries like Redux or MobX
Integrate front-end styling using CSS-in-JS libraries
Implement API clients using Axios or Fetch API for communication with the backend
Develop and implement an Express.js RESTful API for handling requests related to posting, liking, commenting, and direct messaging
Set up and manage PostgreSQL as the primary database for storing posts, comments, likes, and direct messages
Implement user authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and Web3 technologies
Optimize performance using caching with Redis and, if necessary, implement RabbitMQ as a message broker for handling real-time updates and notifications
Collaborate with the UI/UX Designer to integrate frontend designs and ensure seamless user experience
Follow best practices for security, privacy, and blockchain integration, including encryption, HTTPS, TLS, and user authentication
Familiarity with Solidity and Ethereum-based smart contract development
Requirements:
Proficiency in React, Redux/MobX, CSS-in-JS libraries, Axios/Fetch API, Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript), and Express.js
Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ (optional)
Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Web3, Solidity, and Ethereum-based smart contract development
Familiarity with ActivityPub, Sidetree (Microsoft ION), IPFS, and decentralized protocols
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Passion for creating a positive impact through technology, with a strong interest in cryptocurrencies and the blockchain space
Compensation:
At this stage, we’re unable to offer a salary, but we’re offering an initial 1% equity in Axana to the right candidate. Additionally, upon the successful development of our MVP product, an extra 1.5% equity will be granted. The specific equity percentage will be negotiated based on your experience, skills, and contribution to the project.
