Job Position: Accounting Consultant
Location: Dubai
Contract Term: Permanent
Employment Visa: To be provided
Salary Budget: 5,000 to 6,500 AED based on relevant experience
Job Description:
1. Previous consulting experience in an Audit / Accounting firm is mandatory.
2. Recording of daily financial transactions in compliance with IFRS right from recording to reporting.
3. Recording of all closing entries at month end, including bank reconciliations, fixed asset, prepaid, accruals & payroll schedules.
4. Ensuring journal entry information is complete with right supporting documents.
5. Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas.
6. Supporting the auditors with relevant information required to complete the audit.
7. The work will be in a computerized environment with good usage of Microsoft tools such as Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Desired Candidate Profile:
i. ACCA / CPA / M Com qualified.
ii. 4 to 5 years of experience in accounting including financial reporting
iii. Knowledge of Accounting systems such as Xero, Quick Books, Zoho etc. & ability to work independently.
iv. Experience in IFRS reporting.
v. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
vi. Solid analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
