As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring their optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
– Perform diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.
– Repair and replace mechanical, electrical, and electronic components such as engines, brakes, transmissions, and suspension systems.
– Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
– Use specialized tools and equipment to efficiently complete repairs and ensure accuracy.
Inspect vehicles and perform safety checks to identify potential problems or safety hazards.
– Provide accurate estimates of repair costs and timelines to customers.
– Maintain detailed records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
– Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and technical knowledge through continuous learning and training.
– Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and ensure efficient operations.
– Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
– Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician or mechanic.
– In-depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostic and repair procedures.
– Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
– Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems in automobiles.
– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues.
– Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
– Certification from a recognized automotive training program is preferred.
