Business Development Executive

The ideal candidate will have Business Development experience in logistics or shipping (Air/Sea Freight).They should be confident with building new client relationship and maintaining existing ones. They should have evidence of strong skills and possess good negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Visit and meet prospective clients and manages accounts
Build and maintain relationship to facilitate to promote business
Sales proposal, quote creation and submission on daily basis for Air and Sea Freight options
Research leads, qualify prospects and spend a significant amount of time prospecting for new clients via phone, email or in person.
Collaborate to prepare rates for prospective business partners to gain lucrative opportunities that will assist you in successfully meeting individual monthly, quarterly and team goals and initiatives.
Work effectively with customers and carriers.
Take the lead in negotiating and closing deals by uncovering and addressing objections/concerns from the customer.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience in Business Development same industry
Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing Demonstrated sales success
Strong negotiation skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
CRM experience is preferred.
