Business Development & Sales Manager

The Business Development and Sales Manager is responsible for managing an array of accounts, and expand the company’s market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating and securing new business relationships for Asia Pacific & Americas region.

You will be responsible for:

Establish, maintain, and expand our customer base
Use commercial knowledge to analyze market data, competitor analysis and identify to open new sales channels and increase market share.
Develop sales strategies and setting targets.
Compile and analyze regional sales figures.
Deliver sales presentations to high level executives.
Define countries of focus for sales and business development
Oversee all sales administration related to enquiries, quotations, purchase orders, logistics, production follow up with factory, deliveries and payment collection.
Play a key role in the planning and budgeting of trade shows, conferences and sales promotional activities and marketing strategies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

A university degree in marketing or business studies is preferred; a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
Previous experience in the Humanitarian Aid Sector is preferable, or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
Commercial business acumen understanding international trading of goods, contracts, logistics, supply chain and accounting basics.
Working knowledge (proficient – level C) of English, French and Arabic is mandatory.
Strong team player, but equally good at taking initiative. This position might have a single role or leading a team.
Proven track record in winning new business
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to approach people at all levels.
Proven IT Skills and ability to adapt to new technology.
Excellent verbal, written and numerical skills
Excellent organizational skills including ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
Comfortable traveling regularly to the assigned regions, including travel to remote areas.
