Location: Middle East
The role:
· Supports the Project manager and project director in all and any project management activities.
· Custodian for the rig asset register; mechanical, well-control, drilling and electrical project management strategies and ensure they are updated to reflect current industry standards/manufacturer guidelines.
· Provide front-line project support and coordination of work scopes to ensure reliable performance and timely completion of all projects.
· Lead and support the delivery of project plans.
· Complete / manage engineering studies as and when required to support business and safety objectives.
· Participate in daily and weekly project meetings, taking ownership to ensure support is provided to the Project manager to keep critical project milestones up to date.
· Maintains up-to-date knowledge of appropriate discipline legislation, codes & standards, safety cases and safety management systems required to support the role.
· Participate in vendor and supply-chain reviews, performance assessment/improvement and contract development.
· Assist to develop and maintain project budgets.
· Lead technical client interface workshops and meetings to include continuous improvement of maintenance development and optimization processes.
· QA/QC and delivery of project documentation such as manuals, procedures, standards, and analysis papers.
· Develop project reports, conduct, and participate in lessons learnt sessions.
· Design asset data development, data validation and data management processes.
· Facilitate and support failure investigations for key equipment as required and ensure key learnings are implemented.
· Enforce safety standards to achieve a safety culture where no accidents occur.
