• Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Back End Engineer to join our talented engineering team. As a Back End Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our robust and scalable backend systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient and reliable APIs, integrate data storage solutions, and optimize performance for our platform/service.
• Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient backend systems using appropriate technologies and programming languages.
Collaborate with front-end engineers, product managers, and designers to define and implement APIs that meet business requirements.
Identify and address performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and security concerns.
Implement data storage solutions, such as databases or caching mechanisms, ensuring data integrity and efficient access.
Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply them to improve our systems and processes.
• Requirements:
1- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2- Proven experience (1-3 years) as a Back End Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on designing and developing scalable backend systems.
3- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, Ruby, or Go.
4- Solid understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
5- Experience with web frameworks, API design, and RESTful architecture.
6- Strong knowledge of database systems, SQL, and NoSQL.
7- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
8- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
9- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
10- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
– Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
– Knowledge of security best practices and experience in building secure applications.
– Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the developer community.
