UAE EXPERIENCED SALES MANAGER / EXECUTIVE / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT – LOGISTICS FREIGHT FORWARDING

Job Responsibilities:
Identifying prospective Customers, Business Opportunities, Assessing Customer needs in Logistics and Transportation primarily for Air & Ocean shipments.
Development of Air & Ocean freight import volumes primarily from Far East, Europe & US Regions and exports from UAE/GCC to all regions.
Developing new customer base along with retention of existing clientele.
Achieving set commercial targets (volume / revenue).
Generating Daily, Weekly and Monthly sales reports and submitting the same to HODs.
Proactively search, qualify, develop and engage in new customer relationships.
Provide Post-Sales support to all Existing and New Clients.
Outstanding Execution of Sales Strategies consistently across the assigned Zone.

Desired Candidate’s Profile:
A proven track record in achieving strong performance of sales/business development activities in freight forwarding.
Candidates should have in-depth knowledge of Incoterms, Logistics Freight Forwarding products such as Sea/Air Import and Exports, Project Cargo, ODC, Ro-Ro, Break Bulk/Commodities etc.
Candidates should have experience of freight Forwarding Sales & Marketing with knowledge / contacts of freight / project forwarders (both local & multi-national).
Candidates should be well versed and abreast with the latest Industry trends which are influencing the areas of Marketing, Sales, Customer Service and Operational activities.
Outstanding follow-up skills, inspiring interpersonal effectiveness to achieve targets.
Willing and being able to be a “doer” and “influencer”
Should be a team player willing to work as a Team.
Sales experience with success in the scheduled and cold calling environment.
Proven record of growing business and starting new accounts and achieve targets.

Educational Requirement:
Must be a Graduate from Recognized University
PGDBM/PGDIB/MBA will have an added advantage

Essential Skill Requirement:
Should have minimum 3-5 years’ experience with Logistics Freight Forwarding Industry in UAE
Ability to sense opportunities for selling freight to various project businesses.
Team player and Result Oriented.
Fluent in English and local language.
Presentable, Good Communication Skills, Good Analytical Skills
Outstanding organizational skills, excellent time management skills, ability to multitasking.
Good at presentations, Microsoft office
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
UAE driving license is required.
