We are seeking a skilled and passionate hairstylist to join our team at Trim & Co.. As a hairstylist, you will be responsible for providing professional hair care services to our valued clients, ensuring they receive personalized and exceptional salon experiences.
Responsibilities:
Provide a wide range of hair care services, including haircuts, styling, coloring, and treatments, based on client preferences and requests.
Consult with clients to understand their desired hairstyles, discussing options, and making recommendations when necessary.
Stay up-to-date with current trends, techniques, and products in the hairstyling industry.
Perform hair and scalp analysis to assess the condition and recommend appropriate treatments.
Use a variety of tools and equipment effectively, including scissors, clippers, curling irons, and hairdryers.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and salon areas.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their satisfaction.
Upsell salon products and services to clients, promoting additional treatments, retail products, or styling services.
Stay informed about and adhere to health and safety regulations and practices.
Requirements:
Valid hairstylist license or certification from a recognized institution.
Proven experience as a hairstylist, preferably in a salon or similar environment.
Proficient in a variety of hairstyling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and styling.
In-depth knowledge of hair care products, trends, and industry practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Exceptional creativity and attention to detail, with the ability to translate client requests into stylish and suitable hairstyles.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
Flexibility with work hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client appointments.
Professional appearance and demeanor, with a genuine passion for hairstyling.
