Essential Requirements (please ensure you meet most of these requirements below)
You have studied abroad in the US or the UK or Canada.
Have Bachelor’s Degree earned from a ‘Top 200′ in the world university.
Experience of a minimum of 2-3 years as an admissions counselor either at a top university or at a global elite admissions counseling company is an essential requirement.
Advisor/Counselor Job Duties:
• Counsel students at all stages for enrollment into US, Canada, UK, Australia and European universities/colleges
• Track and maintain data on students through the CRM and Data Systems
• Communicate with students with service as a priority
• Communicate with university admission counselors when necessary
• Effectively follow up with students at each stage of the process
• Support conversion/ enrollment initiatives
• Engage students via communication channels
• Follow up for all students
• Recommend advising improvements
• Collaborate with team on student email communication, marketing, and service recommendations
• Culturally Sensitive: Understand, Learn and Respect cultures
• Present and participate in workshops, social media events and when needed.
• Train and acquire the British Council Agent Certificate course ONGOING TRAINING:
-Train for knowledge of Global Study technology platforms and applications
-Train for general knowledge of US, UK, Canada, Australia and European Higher Education Institutions
• Train and understand admission stages and all requirements for international students including admissions, immigration and follow up
