JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Hardware inspection & testing inspect incoming laptops for any physical defects or damages.
2. Laptop configuration: Replace & configure the laptops according to agreed project standards and user requirements. Install software applications, security updates, and drivers as needed.
3. Data migration: Transfer data from old laptops to new ones, ensuring that users files applications and preferences are transferred during the replacement process.
4. Documentation and reporting: fill the replacement check list and get user sign on both ( transfer orders & Blanco reports).
5. Follow security standards & safety tools
Education
A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required for entry level IT computer technician positions.
Technical skills, Hardware knowledge, basic knowledge of networking, customer service skills.
