Application Support Analyst
Responsibilities:
Provides technical/functional support for business applications
Evaluates user requests for the new or modified program
Consults with the user to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives
Prepares flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate a sequence of steps the program must follow to describe logical operations involved
Manages project specifications, using flowcharts and diagrams, into a sequence of detailed instructions and logical steps for coding into language process able by computer, applying knowledge of computer programming techniques and computer languages
Provides statistical data and reporting on a monthly and adhoc basis for management and key departments as per instruction from Senior Officer
Creates and manages the dashboards for management reporting.
Monitors performance of the systems after implementation
Manages new user training and writing manual for users to describe installation and operating procedures including power user training documents for internally developed systems.
Identify and troubleshoot errors to assists users to solve operating problems
Analyzes and alter the program to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements
Participates in cross-functional teams and committees as appropriate
Educational Qualification:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, or a relevant field OR Diploma in relevant field with 3 years of additional experience
Desired
Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Network or a relevant field or relevant field
Experience:
Required:
4-6 years of relevant progressive experience in a similar role
Desired:
Experience in a large healthcare facility
Additional Requirements:
Proficiency in English language
MS Office and computer proficiency
