The role/responsibility of the Senior Accountant is to achieve individual/departmental targets by performing accounting tasks, and effectively coordinating/negotiating with stakeholders. Reporting to the Accounting and Finance manager, the candidate should be a team player who can work with minimum supervision.
Necessary qualifications/know-how/skills:
Accounting graduate (Master’s degree/CA/CPA is a plus).
Minimum 5-year experience in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of accounting functions.
Adequate knowledge of accounting regulations & standards.
Good knowledge of accounts receivable/payable.
Budgeting and budget control/variance analysis.
Good knowledge of LC procedures.
Good reconciliation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage time efficiently.
Ability to propose measures for improvement.
ERP exposure (SAP preferred).
Advanced MS Excel skills.
High level of accuracy and numerical skill.
High level of integrity.
