As Junior Software Engineer – D365 Business Central / NAV Developer you are responsible with the daily activities of designing, configuring, and deploying code for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Developing defined solutions for a diverse range of company needs while collaborating closely with team members and following defined methodology.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Support in all development/programming work for D365 Business Central/NAV.
· Create reports, tables, pages, code units, and webservices.
· Help in designing UML’s and FRD.
· Keep all extensions up to date with recent platform/application release.
· Be in sync with best software engineering practices.
· Troubleshoot performance issues and effectively advise and implement solutions.
· Uses project tools to communicate functional area progress on tasks, issues, risks and blockers.
· Other tasks as directed by the Line Manager.
JOB SPECIFICATION:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or related field.
Experience:
· 1-2 years of relevant experience with MS Dynamics 365 Nav/Business Central.
Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge in Dynamics 365 Nav/Business Central development AL/CAL.
• Strong knowledge of Report design and development.
• Understanding of Events and Subscribers.
• Good Understanding of ERP implementation standards and tools/documents.
• Independent thinking and good decision-making capabilities
• Strong understanding of ERP software and related terminology, functionality, best practices, processes, and business rules. Including areas such as Inventory & Warehouse Management, Costing, Financials, Manufacturing, Service, Purchasing, Sales, CRM, and Fixed Assets.
• Integration knowledge/experience of Business central with other applications like external CRM, Payroll, etc.
