We are looking for an exceptional individual with general accounting experience to join our team.
To expertly manage the Accounts Department, overseeing general accounting operations. Key points of focus are the company’s pipeline & financial positioning, expenditure, sales transactions, payments due & made, salaries, vat registration as well as managing a healthy & profitable state of finances for REAP.
For the right candidate, the role comes with basic salary + incentives, insurance, visa and transportation. Training for real estate accounting will be provided, but we do expect the person to have at least 2 year’s proven experience, along with thorough knowledge of accounting procedures.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Experience in all types of Online banking transactions is mandatory
Awareness of business trends
Familiarity with financial accounting statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like FreshBooks and QuickBooks
Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
Accuracy and attention to detail
Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
Relevant certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) will be preferred
Preferred Skills
Experience in the Dubai Real Estate sector
Well-versed in using real estate and accounting software
Accuracy with sense of urgency in extending assistance to the sales team
