Our growing company needs an experienced and resourceful Business Development Manager to develop and implement growth opportunities in existing and new markets. We’re searching for professionals that have a solid track record of creating long-term value for organizations.

First and foremost, we’re looking for a candidate who will be focus on customer acquisition, lead generation, and prospect management, as this role will garner and meet with potential clients.

The potential candidate will be responsible for managing expectations and developing business solutions for our organizations and will oversee creating effective business plans to generate more revenue, increase brand loyalty, and improve customer satisfaction.

Some of the main duties include brainstorming with other business development staff to define the scope of the project, review requirements, and approve timeframes. The candidate works well with other company managers to oversee the progress of business development. However, these individuals have strong leadership skills to motivate staff members, and they come up with innovative solutions for day-to-day development issues. The main duties include managing client accounts and executing sales objectives, writing reports, review business processes, and communicate with staff.

Candidate must be capable of reaching company goals within a given timeframe.

Duties and Responsibilities
– Researching the target market and finding companies to target
– Building business relationships with current and potential clients
– Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
– Collaborating with sales and leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts
– Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences
– Creating invoices and sending out to customers following a sale
– Updating the CRM and inputting information of customers
– Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices and other important data
– Working to monthly sales and revenue targets as set by the company and achieves assigned sales target. Identifying sales and services that would appeal to new clients
– Managing company and client expectations
– Finding and following new sales leads
– Arranging business meetings and one-on-one conversations or on call with prospective clients
– Attending networking events
– Negotiate sales contracts and keep records of sales and data
– Sells the firm’s complete offering of products and services
– Leads all aspects of the sales process, calling upon others to assist in solution development and proposal delivery, as needed, or as directed by management
– Generate innovative ideas to support customers and boost brand awareness
– Report on sales results on a regular basis and suggest improvements
– Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
– Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients; closing sales and working with client through closing process
– Maintaining a pipeline of all sales administration using CRM software
– Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans

Requirements and Qualifications
– Experience with lead generation and prospect management
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers
– Persuasive and goal-oriented
– Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanour
– Able to communicate with C-Level Executives professionally and confidently
– High school degree or equivalent
– Four years of cold calling experience; previous experience in outbound call center, inside sales experience, or related sales experience; knowledge of sales process from initiation to close
– Excellent analytical and time-management skills
– Demonstrated and proven sales results
– Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team

Nice to Have

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree preferred. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience preferred.
