We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Interior Designer with expertise in Joinery, Civil, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be responsible for leading and managing the design process for a variety of interior design projects, including commercial, residential, hospitality, and retail spaces. Your expertise in joinery, civil engineering, and MEP systems will be instrumental in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing environments.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the entire design process for interior design projects, from conceptualization to completion, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality designs.
Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to develop comprehensive design concepts that meet project requirements and objectives.
Utilize your expertise in joinery, civil engineering, and MEP systems to integrate functional and technical elements into interior design plans.
Create detailed drawings, plans, and specifications, incorporating joinery, civil, and MEP requirements, and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
Oversee the selection of materials, finishes, and furnishings, considering their suitability for joinery, civil, and MEP installations.
Conduct on-site visits and inspections to monitor the progress of construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, offering support and feedback to enhance their professional growth.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new materials, and emerging technologies related to joinery, civil engineering, and MEP systems, and apply this knowledge to design projects.
Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to source and procure materials, products, and equipment required for joinery, civil, and MEP installations.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, correspondence, and progress reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of UAE experience in interior design, with a focus on joinery, civil engineering, and MEP systems.
Strong knowledge and expertise in joinery, including experience in creating custom millwork designs and detailed joinery drawings.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or other relevant design software.
Strong project management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Salary Offered for the role is 5000 – 6000 AED
