Hiring For Interior Designer/ VM Coordinator for Home Centre.
Role Objective:
The Interior Designer is responsible for ensuring the execution of residential and commercial design projects which includes conceptualization and timely installation of safe and functional design solutions within budgetary guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
CUSTOMER
Support B2B team in creation of a stylistically strong concept for the client that offers visual and functional solutions of Home Centre products to meet client satisfaction
Ensure customer commitments are met on time through follow-ups on purchases/orders/deliveries and addressing issues (if any)
Ensure all client design specifications are duly met through follow up communication, home visits and set up and customer feedback on the service provided
OFFER
Prepare work briefs based on client interaction to understand the requirement aided by secondary research
Provide detailed assistance to clients during the selection process of fabrics, color palettes, window treatments, lighting, carpets, floor tiles, artwork, paint, wallpaper and accessories through product samples or mood boards
Prepare accurate and error free detailed drawings, designs, plans, models and schemes using computer-aided design software (AutoCAD) for presentation to clients using instore rooms styler.
Identify and understand the structural requirements of the design solution with adequate focus on health and safety issues, building codes and other relevant technical aspects
Combine the Home Centre offer with appropriate selection of other elements such as textile, material, color, texture, lighting and other factors to create a better solution for the Homes.
Responsible for preparing detailed order documents
Prepare the program for site/home execution; prepare status report on weekly basis
Producing mood boards for presentation to clients.
Finish plans/layouts and specification/BOQ

Good knowledge of space planning
Excellent communication & leadership skills.
Team player & able to adapt to new environments quickly
Job Specification:
Bachelor’s Degree in architecture, Interior Design or equivalent.
1 to 3-year interior design experience.
Previous sales experience is a plus.
Presentation skills
Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketch-up, or other design-related software
Excellent graphic presentation skills including hand sketches.
Note: The compensation for this role will vary between AED 5000 to 7000, basis experience and maturity.
