Job Purpose:

To work closely alongside Senior members of the team and providing consistent support to the Cost Consultancy team.
To assist managing smaller projects throughout the construction lifecycle.
To ensure that client objectives are met through the delivery of an effective cost management service..
Responsibilities

Receiving tender documents, preparing Bill of Quantities after quantity take off.
Detailed Study all BID documents (Drawings, BOQ, Specs, Contract conditions, etc.) and understand the scope of work and the technical and financial conditions.
Highly proficient in tendering, Quantity surveying and contracts administration.
Provide Comparison Statements for PO placement and review of commercial submittals
Take of Documents from CAD drawings and ensure the BOQ and Drawings are correct in order to manage RFP
Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in another department to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve the issues.
Prepares invoices for client submittal and liaises with QS for pre and post contract services
Highly proficient in tendering, Quantity surveying and contracts administration.
Allocate the work to and lead a team of AE’s.
Supports the post contract team in executing the works, discusses the issues with consultant and finds solutions.
To act as the key, day to day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met through the delivery of a value-added cost management service
Carry out quantity take-offs from drawings
Identify the items to be priced in the BOQ and prepare cost estimate.
Preparation of BOQ and RFP documents to be issued to Sub Contractors
Issue enquiries to suppliers, subcontractors and carry out thorough review and comparison of quotations received
Prepare and issue quotations to clients
Closely coordinate with project managers, accounts team and client teams.
Negotiating with vendors for better market rates, selection of vendors for each kind of works and awarding the job.
Prepares invoices for client submittal and liaises with QS for pre and post contract services.
Ensuring that invoices are raised in a correct and timely manner.
Allocate the work to and lead a team of AE’s.
Ensure that variations and letters for commercial works are issued and cost report on works projects are completed and any risk flagged to management vi weekly report
To understand the scope of service delivery requirements and prepare all project delivery plans and contribution to PEPs or other client specific project documentation
The implementation and management of cost management activities, systems and processes in accordance with the service scope set out within the terms of engagement
Managing estimating and cost planning activities to include taking ownership of and presenting the final cost plan
Managing the procurement process, ensuring that all stages including pre-qualification, enquiry, analysis, selection and contract preparation are performed effectively
Ensuring that post-contract cost variances and change control processes are managed effectively
Ensuring the production of monthly post-contract cost reports and presenting them to the client
Producing monthly post contract cost reports and presenting them to the client.
Assisting in producing estimates and cost plans with minimal support and confidently presenting the outputs to Clients.
Assisting on feasibility studies and writing procurement reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with construction background and Fit-Out
Must have knowledge with using SAP, Auto-CAD.
