Job Description

To assist the Commercial Manager in Handling and coordinating commercial aspects of the company including, prequalifying, tendering, maintaining the database of clients,
follow-ups on quotations made, scheduling appointments sending out weekly vessel position list, Preparation and maintaining company Profile presentations, Etc.
Responsible for providing administrative support to the Commercial Department and assisting in the smooth running of the online & email marketing and tendering activities of the department.
Maintain and update the commercial database and create reports.
Assist in the collation of market intelligence information and competition profiling on a regular basis.
Market company product and service category to oil companies and service companies.
Develop plans for market penetration into the applicable markets within the company’s core business.
Develop company brochures and profiles strategically to suit company marketing needs.
Assisting in writing and editing sales and marketing materials, which include articles, presentations, etc.
Analyze, provide and present market dynamics, size, opportunities & risks to the business.
Research competitors and competitor products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share and pricing.
Be a key member of the central Commercial & Chartering team.
Maintaining up-to-date vessel datasheets for website and marketing purposes.
Assist with market overviews and prepare customer reviews.
Assist with weekly reporting.
Prepare (potential) customer visit plans.
Working closely with surveyors to ensure smooth checking of inspection.
Calculation of Voyages and Towages.
Handling full set of shipping documents and L/C negotiations/preparation.
Accomplish and fulfill any and all tasks set by the management.

Experience

3+ years related work experience in Marine is a must.

Knowledge

Proficient in MS Office, with advanced excel skills,

knowledgeable in bid preparation, proposal preparation, negotiation.
