The Chemical Engineer with Emission Management Expertise is responsible for designing strategies and systems for the effective management and control of emissions from residential and commercial activities.
Responsibilities:
• Database set up in our software
• P&IDs review and mapping
• Definition of stream composition as per applicable protocols
• Marking up the streams to be included in the scope of work
• Inventory of sources per drawing
• Importing and exporting data from our software
• Preparing the monitoring scope for our technicians based on client requirements and scope of work
• Conducting measurements for emission detection and quantification using multiple types of analysers/measurement techniques
• Assisting in report creation
• Database management
• Responsible for the completion of the preparations of each project before starting up on-site activities
• Weekly progress reporting
• Design plans and systems for effective emission management and control
• Implement strategies for pollution prevention and waste minimization
• Develop models to monitor and regulate source, stack, and ambient air quality
• Analyze and provide guidance on air quality parameters
• Monitor and evaluate processes to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Provide technical advice and training to staff on emission management
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in related field
• Comprehensive knowledge of emission management systems
• Working knowledge of computer models related to emission monitoring and control
• Ability to monitor and adjust process variables to meet regulatory requirements
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
