The MSL we are looking for will be accountable for therapeutic solutions developed by Chiesi company – Based in Parma, Italy, Chiesi is an international research-focused pharmaceuticals and healthcare group with over 85 years of experience, operating in 30 countries with more than 6,000 employees (Chiesi Group). To achieve its mission of improving people’s quality of life by acting responsibly towards society and the environment, the Group research develops, and markets innovative drugs in its three therapeutic areas: AIR (products and services that promote respiration, from new-born to adult populations), RARE (treatment for patients with rare and ultra-rare diseases) and CARE (products and services that support special care and consumer-facing self-care).
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide high-quality, accurate and timely scientific advice to healthcare professionals regarding the company’s products and its associated disease areas.
Remain up to date with relevant clinical development plans of the products and the disease areas in order to act as an expert medical resource
Support commercial colleagues with regards to formulary applications and promotional material, answering medical queries, and support ad-hoc projects like audits, guidelines development, and medical education seminars
Identify and develop professional relationships ; partnerships and promote collaboration with the health care community, especially Key Opinion Leaders, in the dedicated therapeutic areas
Provide KOLs and researchers with scientific information in accordance with local legislative regulations and NCH standards and establish long-term relationships working in specific therapeutic fields
Conduct scientific pre- and post-launch activities and provide training to field force
Increase scientific knowledge in the community of products by conducting Regional Advisory Boards
Gather competitive intelligence from the field by representing Chiesi on national and international scientific events, symposiums, and congresses
Report feedback from customers on scientific issues (product related) and information gathered regarding the development of relevant therapeutic and disease areas
Support Market Access colleagues in conducting scientific training for decision makers (ad-hoc)
Initiate and support the local and international trials/studies
Active contribution to macro-regional projects
Insights collection and medical action plan development
EXPERIENCE
2- 3 years of work experience in MSL position in Pharma company
Experience in Respiratory, Special Care, and Neonatology areas is a plus
Established track record of effective and influential oral scientific presentations within the healthcare
Demonstration of proficiency in key skills and competencies, including exceptional clinical and pharmacoeconomic knowledge
Demonstrates broad therapeutic competency – stays current on trends and new information in the profession
Highly articulate and persuasive during formal and informal presentations; able to convey complex,
scientific ideas fluently to any audience
Has the ability to tactfully provide scientifically sound, constructive feedback to national, regional, and
local thought leaders and speakers
SKILLS REQUIRED

Builds and leverages strategic internal and external relationships to identify potential opportunities, partnerships, and opportunities to provide value and improve the quality of care for providers and patients

Is able to work effectively on more products/therapeutical areas in order to achieve desired outcomes
Maintains a positive attitude during challenging situations
Must be willing to travel up to 50% (air/car); this is including overnight stays and occasional weekend travel
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills in English, Arabic
EDUCATION
University degree in Medicine, Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, or related scientific field where complementary master’s and PHD are preferred
