Position: Clinic Nurse

Job Summary
As a Clinic Nurse in the UAE, you will be an integral part of the healthcare team in a clinic setting. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, assist physicians in examinations and procedures, and ensure the smooth operation of the clinic. Clinic Nurses play a crucial role in delivering patient-centered care and promoting health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Assessment and Care: Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and presenting complaints. Assist physicians in examinations and treatments, and provide direct nursing care to patients. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques. Provide guidance on managing chronic illnesses, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications to promote overall well-being.
Clinic Operations: Ensure the smooth functioning of the clinic by managing patient flow, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate patient records. Assist in triaging patients based on their medical needs and urgency. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Medical Procedures: Assist physicians in various clinic procedures such as wound dressings, minor surgeries, vaccinations, and diagnostic tests. Follow sterile techniques and ensure the proper handling and disposal of medical equipment and supplies.
Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMRs) for each patient encounter. Document assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress notes. Adhere to privacy and confidentiality regulations.
Health Promotion and Preventive Care: Promote health and wellness by conducting health screenings, immunizations, and health education sessions. Encourage preventive measures and provide guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Emergency Response: Respond effectively to medical emergencies within the clinic, including initiating first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and coordinating emergency transfers, if necessary. Stay updated on emergency protocols and procedures.
Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes and clinic efficiency. Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based nursing practices. Identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions.
Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development activities to stay updated with advancements in nursing practice, regulations, and clinical guidelines. Attend relevant workshops, seminars, and conferences to enhance knowledge and skills.
Qualifications And Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Valid registration as a Nurse with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) or other relevant regulatory body in the UAE.
Knowledge of clinic operations, medical procedures, and clinical guidelines.
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and healthcare software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
