The primary duties include assisting the Group Legal Department in contract review and drafting, including but not limited to legal research, preparing executive summaries, execution and filing, document control, maintenance and upkeep of legal files, legal research, and the provision of professional legal advice.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Providing life-cycle services to our Real Estate Development Company, including land acquisition, project development, construction, sales matters, after-sales legal assistance, etc.
Drafting and solidifying agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure protection of the company’s full legal rights.
Providing support to the Real Estate projects team when required, particularly real estate.
Collaborating with legal team to devise efficient litigation/arbitration strategies
Researching and evaluating different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations.
Applying effective risk management techniques and offering proactive advice on possible legal issues.
Conducting work with integrity and responsibility
Maintaining current knowledge of alterations in legislation and Securing compliance of business operations with relevant laws and regulations.
Representing the department as required in liaison with any external clients or suppliers
Anticipating and managing the (legal) risks connected with or resulting from the business strategy and operations.
Delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Proactively creating and maintaining awareness of business employees for (compliance with) relevant laws and regulations.
Document Control, maintenance and upkeep of legal files and records
About The Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in law
Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably working in a legal department/law firm; experience in the real estate industry in the UAE is a must.
Verbal and Written communication skills in English and Arabic Excellent knowledge of Real Estate laws and FIDIC
An eye for details, excellent time-management and organizational skills
Skilled with MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint
