The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities and will maximize the sales through providing exceptional customer service in an efficient manner. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
Functions and Responsibilities
Develop customer relationships and client’s network to increase sales and margins.
Maintain showroom display and assist customers with appropriate product selection.
Conduct market study to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer’s needs.
Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and building a potential customer pipeline.
Develop an entrance and a sales plan for cold calling, qualifying and effectively connecting with prospective business partners to meet the monthly sales goals and making reports on customer complains. Feedback, prospecting, and lead generation.
Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations and involving in all warehouse duties including receiving and shipping as needed.
Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
Collaborate with team members inter and intra locations to achieve better results.
Requirements and skills
Proven experience as a Counter Sales Executive with cashiering experience in building materials company or relevant role in a retail environment.
Good knowledge of Timbers, Mdf, Plywood and other related building material products is required.
Proficiency in English and spoken Arabic, Hindi or Urdu.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and experience in an ERP (SAP Business One is a plus).
Fast learner and passion for sales, self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Bachelor’s degree.
Flexible on relocations within UAE.
