We are looking for 2 talented styrofoam artists / carver with a minimum of 5 years solid experience in event and exhibition projects to join our in-house Scenic Team.
We are looking for strong candidates for the following role:
Expert-level skills in Styroam carving
Extensive experience in carving for small, medium, or life-size objects or pieces.
Advanced skills in creating molds and experience applying different hard coating materials to finished sculpts (epoxies, resins, fillers, etc.)
Must be able to work quickly and accurately
Adobe Photoshop, skills in Illustrator are an additional asset
Fluent in written and spoken English
Comprehend and respond clearly, creatively and intelligently to a design brief
Ensure accurate time management and meet assigned deadlines
Work constructively as part of a team or act as a lead carver on a project specific basis to apply a singular aesthetic across multiple carved elements
Show a clear ability to think in design terms, brainstorm productively and creatively, explain and visualise initial concepts and ideas, as well as troubleshoot and problem solve when required
Offer an in depth understanding and adherence to design & brand guidelines for each project.
