We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Project Manager to join our team in the UAE for a 6-month contract. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from planning and execution to tracking and completion. You will work closely with stakeholders, team members, and vendors to ensure projects meet all objectives and deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
Lead project teams in executing project plans and monitor progress.
Manage changes, ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones.
Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and gather feedback.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to proactively address issues.
Allocate resources effectively to ensure project tasks are completed efficiently.
Establish quality standards and conduct reviews to ensure project outputs meet expectations.
Collaborate with vendors and external partners to procure necessary goods and services.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement lessons learned from past projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
Proven experience managing IT projects from initiation to closure.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.
Knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and technologies.
Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
