Material Controller – Oil & Gas Construction (UAE)
Are you a highly motivated Material Controller with 5+ years’ experience in the Oil & Gas sector?
We’re looking for an ADNOC-approved Material Controller to join our leading Oil & Gas Construction Company in the UAE. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the efficient handling and control of materials and equipment for our Process Plant & Pipeline projects.
About the Role:
Manage and control various project materials & equipment at the project site.
Utilize your strong knowledge of stock management and inventory control to optimize procurement processes.
Generate and finalize Procurement MTOs, considering procurement, fabrication allowances, and cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborate effectively with Civil, HVAC, E&I, Mechanical, Piping, and Structural disciplines to ensure accurate engineering documents and MTOs.
Liaise with various departments like Yards, Loadout, Installation, SCM, QA, and F&A to maintain seamless project flow.
Work closely with buyers to secure timely PO releases in SAP.
Review and clarify discrepancies between LOIs/POs and Procurement MTOs.
Participate in feasibility studies to leverage surplus materials from previous projects.
Facilitate the transfer of surplus materials to new projects within SAP.
Manage material readiness, inspections, deliveries, and custom clearances.
Develop and publish weekly Material Control Charts, capturing details from procurement to delivery.
Plan, monitor, and control material requirements at the Yard.
Qualifications:
Any Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Science
5+ years of experience in Material Control within the Oil & Gas industry
ADNOC approval (preferred)
Proficiency in SAP and MOSS systems
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
