Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Irrigation and Softscape Plants Maintenance Specialist to join our dynamic team in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping, along with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in irrigation systems management, softscape maintenance, and plant care.
Responsibilities:
1️⃣ Utilize expertise in irrigation systems and softscape maintenance to develop efficient and sustainable landscaping solutions.
2️⃣ Source and procure plants and trees from local and international suppliers, demonstrating a good understanding of the UAE market and the availability of plant species.
3️⃣ Collaborate with project managers and landscape architects to ensure that landscaping designs are implemented and maintained according to specifications.
4️⃣ Work effectively as part of a team, providing support and assistance to colleagues as needed to achieve project goals and deadlines.
5️⃣ Communicate regularly with clients to address any concerns or questions regarding landscape maintenance, and provide recommendations for enhancing the aesthetic and functional aspects of their outdoor spaces.
6️⃣ Conduct nursery visits with suppliers to inspect plant quality, negotiate pricing, and select specimens that meet project requirements.
Requirements:
1️⃣ Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscaping and irrigation, with a focus on softscape maintenance.
2️⃣ Comprehensive knowledge of plant species, their care requirements, and common issues affecting plant health.
3️⃣ Familiarity with irrigation systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and programming.
4️⃣ Strong understanding of the UAE market for sourcing plants and trees, including knowledge of local suppliers and their offerings.
5️⃣ Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and landscape management software.
6️⃣ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, suppliers, and team members.
7️⃣ Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel for site visits and supplier meetings.
