Job Description:
We are urgently seeking a skilled Microbiologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience in testing food and water to join our Material Lab team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in microbiological analysis techniques and a thorough understanding of food and water safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct microbiological testing of food and water samples according to established protocols and procedures.
2. Perform microbial enumeration, identification, and characterization using appropriate microbiological techniques.
3. Ensure compliance with local and international food safety standards, including HACCP and ISO regulations.
4. Maintain accurate records of testing procedures, results, and quality control measures.
5. Collaborate with other team members to interpret test results and provide actionable recommendations to clients.
6.. Contribute to the development and validation of new testing methodologies.
7.. Actively engage in business development activities to attract new clients and expand service offerings.
8. Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
9. Possess a valid UAE driving license
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Food Science, or related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in microbiological testing of food and water, preferably in the UAE.
3. Strong understanding of microbiological techniques, including culture-based methods, PCR, and molecular biology.
4. Familiarity with food safety management systems, such as HACCP, ISO 22000, and GMP.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
6. Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
