As a Sales & Marketing Intern/Assistant at MES, you will gain practical experience and exposure to various aspects of sales and marketing. You will work closely with our sales and marketing professionals to assist in the execution of strategies, contribute to lead generation efforts, and help enhance our brand presence. This internship/assistant position will provide you with valuable insights into the sales and marketing functions and allow you to develop essential skills for a successful career in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the sales team in lead generation and qualification by conducting market research, identifying potential customers, and assisting in outreach activities.
2. Assist with the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns, including content creation, social media management, email marketing, and advertising.
3. Contribute to the development of marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, sales materials, and product documentation.
4. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
5. Participate in sales and marketing meetings, brainstorming sessions, and strategy discussions to provide input and suggestions for improving our sales and marketing efforts.
6. Help maintain customer relationship management (CRM) databases by updating customer information, tracking sales activities, and generating reports.
7. Support event planning and coordination, including trade shows, conferences, and promotional activities.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, marketing techniques, and emerging technologies to suggest innovative ideas for sales and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
– Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (or recently graduated).
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online graphic design tools such as Canva.
– Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
– Basic understanding of sales and marketing principles.
– Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
– Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to take on new challenges.
Details:
– Compensation: 1.5K to 2K (depending on abilities)
– The intern/assistant will work closely with and report to the Marketing Director.
– Transport provided for Sharjah residents.
