We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Estimator Engineer to join our team in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). In this role, you will play a vital role in the success of our construction projects by preparing comprehensive cost estimates, managing bids, and collaborating with various stakeholders.
About the Role:
Analyze project requirements, specifications, and Bill of Quantities (BOQs) to determine material, equipment, labor, and utility costs.
Conduct site visits to gather critical information and ensure a thorough understanding of project scope.
Manage pre-qualification and pre-bid submissions, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Prepare cost-effective estimates that optimize work hours, task sequencing, and resource allocation.
Compile and analyze post-tender work, identifying variances between actual costs and budgeted amounts.
Maintain accurate records of material prices and labor costs to ensure project profitability.
Source and qualify subcontractors and vendors to meet project specifications.
Collaborate effectively with project teams, stakeholders, and clients.
Regularly report to management and keep clients informed on project progress.
Mentor and train junior estimators, fostering a culture of accuracy and excellence.
Who We Are Looking For:
Minimum 5 years of experience in construction estimating.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in construction estimating software (e.g., Planswift, CostX).
Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
