A Calibration Technician is responsible for the calibration, routine inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of instruments, meters, gauges and other testing and measuring equipment. The goal of a Calibration Technician is to ensure the accuracy and precision of the measurements taken using this equipment.
Calibration Technician Responsibilities:
· Traveling to clients for equipment inspections.
· Performing routine equipment maintenance.
· Calibrating equipment to industry standards.
· Troubleshooting equipment failures.
· Conducting equipment repairs.
· Responding to client queries.
· Suggesting equipment upgrades.
· Maintaining calibration equipment and supplies.
· Completing job cards and equipment reports.
Qualifications Requirements:
· A high school diploma holder.
· Relevant industry certification.
· A minimum of 2-3 years experience as a calibration technician.
· Extensive experience with equipment maintenance and repairs.
· Advanced troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to stand, crouch, and kneel for extended periods.
· Excellent hand-eye coordination.
· Ability to travel when required.
· Good technical knowledge in Calibration of Electrical, Temperature, Pressure, Linear and Torque Instruments.
· Preference Holding UAE Driving License.
