Star Property Inspections
Star Property Inspection (SPI) is looking for a reliable Property/Building Inspector with prior experience in real estate, insurance inspection, or property management. You perform indoor and outdoor checks to minimize safety hazards and determine maintenance needs, photographing evidence and documenting what actions are ultimately taken. As part of these inspections, you need to make sure that the building is complying with local and state regulations.
Responsibilities:
Carry out inspections of residential and commercial buildings, retail & hospitality property, apartments, and villas.
Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the existing condition of the building and MEP systems, and check any fire & safety code violation.
Inspect the property for any deficiencies & deferred maintenance issues that requires repairs & replacements of civil and MEP systems.
Examine the exterior and interior of the structure for damage or potential risks
Photograph all violations or potential issues and log the actions taken
Document findings clearly and create a report within the designated time frame
Respond to client requests and clarifications.
Key skills of the required candidate:
Applicants must have strong working experience in engineering (mechanical, electrical, and/or facility maintenance experiences). Electrical or Mechanical Engineer degree holder is a plus.
Advantage for those applicants that has experience with RERA recommended inspections such as Reserve Fund Study, Building Condition Audit, Reinstatement Cost Assessment, etc…
Willing and able to work in all weather conditions, climb to rooftops, access small/confined spaces and stand for extended periods, all while following safety protocols.
Must have UAE Driving License and preferably UAE working experience.
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Confident to use inspection software and write a clear report in English.
Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc…) and familiarity with basic computer programs.
Able to manage multiple responsibilities in a very busy environment.
Must possess detail orientation along with highly developed planning and organizational skills.
Ability to learn and undertake continual training as needed to become a more qualified and efficient inspector.
