Laundry Operations Manager Responsibilities:
· Oversee the day-to-day operation in areas relating to the Laundry and to administer the supervision of all staff
· Properly schedule staff and coordinate the daily assignment of work.
· Manage department labor to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity for the factory.
· Interview and train the staff. Hold team members accountable and discipline staff when needed.
· Properly open the Department. Check night report and prepare Laundry Attendants’ daily assignments.
· Assures the financial goals of the department are being met. Monitors and controls labor expense and other divisional expenses.
· Monitors daily assignments to assure that productivity and quality standards are being met, staff is being supported.
· Ensure communication and follow-up on any problems or special requirements.
· Takes action in all matters related to the safety and security of employees.
· Check daily for maintenance conditions and submit the work orders for repairs and escalate to the owner
· Make inspection trips on production methods and procedures. Check washing formulas, making corrections and improvements whenever possible.
Laundry Operations Manager Requirements:
· Minimum of 4 years of laundry management experience.
· Fluent in English (verbal and writing).
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Creates motivating work environment.
· Have a high level of attention to detail.
